Worship

Worship is at the centre of our Parish life. As a part of the life of the Grafton Diocese we reflect the Anglo-Catholic tradition and value the sacramental traditions. Each parish centre has a weekly Eucharist held on Sundays.

We presently produce a weekly prayer and reflection service. You can receive this by contacting the parish and we will email this to you or deliver it if you live in the Bellingen or Urunga township.

St Margaret’s Bellingen has a more Contemporary Service with Eucharist. This service uses PowerPoint presentation and has diversity of liturgy and song style. St Barnabas Services are more traditional, however we still mostly use the powerpoint for our worship liturgy. Unfortunately, the Prince of Peace, Raleigh church has been closed but we pray that we can continue ministry to the people in this area in creative ways.

A mid week service is held once per month at St Barnabas, Urunga. This is at 11am on the fourth Thursday each month. It is a informal communion service followed by a light lunch and fellowship. Members bring a small plate to share and it is an opportunity to invite others to come and enjoy a time of worship and sharing with us.

Taize Services are held at St Margarets Bellingen on the third Thursday of the month at 2pm. Taize offers a quiet, reflective service with song, prayer and silence. Everyone is welcome.
